What does this mean? Firstly let's see what 'Biophilia' means.

'Bio' is a Greek word meaning life and 'philia' is the love of something - so combine the two and we have the 'love of life or living things'.

Biophilic design creates a link between nature and your space, improving your health and well-being. People have an inherent need to connect with nature and bringing this into our homes and places of work is where Mandy Davies Interiors come in.

With a First Class Honours degree in Interior Design, Mandy takes her inspriation from nature to create relaxed and homely interiors.

The welcoming style created by Mandy, will evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, connecting with nature and embracing natural textures. She loves using earthy tones in her designs, complemented with antiques, bric-a-brac and those lovely 'hand me down' treasures from generations before us.

Working from her design studio nestled in the Talygarn Country Park near Cowbridge, South Wales, she

benefits from the surrounding natural beauty.

Mandy has a natural flair of connecting people with their spaces by applying the principles of biophilic design. These can be through direct experiences of nature, indirect experiences and multi-sensory applications.
